Pancakes are so simple even kids can make them. At least theoretically. In practice, they rarely turn out as desired.
Add a creamy substance to make them like French crêpes after frying.
– a cup of flour, – half a cup of milk, – 7 oz of mascarpone cheese, – 1 large egg, – two tablespoons of melted butter or oil, – a pinch of salt, – a few drops of vanilla extract or a tablespoon of vanillin sugar.
Mix flour, milk, mascarpone, salt, oil or butter, egg, a pinch of salt, and vanilla sugar in a large bowl.
Let the batter sit for 10-15 minutes to bind gluten.
