Burger King has recently introduced more pricey Whoppers, fewer value packages, and new menu
cuts to stimulate sales. You can now introduce another menu change that will likely disappoint customers.
The 7,000 Burger King franchisee Carrols Restaurant Group says it will reduce the number of chicken nuggets each order. CNN reports that clients will get eight
The plan is an alternative to hiking chicken nugget pricing owing to inflation, however Carrols revealed some menu items may cost more
this year. Domino's isn't the only one—it just said it won't raise pricing but would remove the $7.99 carryout deal from in-store purchases and reduce the quantity
Burger King's parent business said in a recent earnings call that it will continue to avoid discount deals and focus on promoting the Whopper as a premium product.
The Whopper will be removed from the Two for $5 value deal and placed at the center of the chain's
updated menu. Burger King aims to market the Whopper better, offer more varieties, and discount it more strategically.
"We always strive to provide excellent value for money on a full menu, but going forward, we will be purposeful and targeted when promoting this iconic asset,"
Burger King will also eliminate sundaes, whipped toppings, and chocolate milk and streamline the preparation of its most popular sandwiches.
